We have created a block producing node along with 4 relay nodes run on commercial virtual private servers located in North America, the EU and Australia. Each node has the following configuration

4 Core Processors

8GB of Ram

80 GB of Storage.

We have found that the above configuration to be optimal in giving our block producing node the best performance in order to mint blocks.

Each of these nodes are monitored 24/7 through Prometheus and Grafana software. We have secured all of our Cardano Keys on a off-line machine that can be put into service in the case of an unexpected outage. These keys are also backed up on a USB drive for access if needed.

All of our servers are set up to run as a SystemD service in Linux. This is important because if the VPS data center experiences an outage, our relay node will recover quickly and automatically restart the node. 

To save money, we have prepaid for our VPS's for a one year term. We are committed to updating our infrastructure should the demands of the network become greater. We have confidence in our VPS infrastructure, having used the same provider for over 3 years of running nodes.
